Memorial Day

We went to Lake Lowell for a brief moment.

It was too cold and windy to stay for a picnic lunch.

The water was high (notice the trees to the left).

Not the beach, but the view will do.

Grammy and Opa

Boise Zoo

We went to the zoo today with Grammy and Opa. It was a little cold, which is probably why most of the animals were out strutting their stuff. It seems like we see fewer animals when the weather is hot.

Ty is getting really good at drinking from his sippy cup. Though we have only introduced water, the plan is for him to be ready to drink cow's milk when he turns one.

On our way up to Idaho last night, Allan honked at a car who totally cut us off on the freeway. Allan hardly ever honks the horn, so this was a noteworthy moment. Way to go handsome!

check-up

Ty weighed 17 pounds 7 ounces and was 27.75 inches long at his 9 month check-up. Thankfully he didn't need any shots at this visit. He was not happy with his doctor checking him even though he was sitting on Allan's lap most of the time. Stranger anxiety!

9 months

Ty is 9 months old. He decided to be unconventional and get more bottom teeth before his top teeth. He now has three with the fourth on its way. We love our handsome little boy!

Zoo

Today was Ty's first trip to the zoo. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Though he was busy enjoying his surroundings, we are not sure how much he noticed the animals like:

We took a family ride on this beautiful elephant.

Ty was content sitting in his stroller, playing with his empty food container. Oh the simple things in life!
