hospital visit

Ty had a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy today to correct his sleep apnea.
We are looking forward to a speedy recovery and a better sleeping preschooler.
The doctors and nurses were amazing!

There was a great play area for the kids awaiting surgery.
Ty didn't care that he hadn't eaten for 16 hours...he was happily playing!

Ty's favorite thing to play with was the doctor set.
This is no surprise; he loves doctor stuff!
We just might have a future MD on our hands.

Finally...enjoying a grape popsicle.
Ty didn't want anything to drink.
Who would turn down a root beer slushy? Or any slushy for that matter? Our kid.
I am glad the nurse brought in some frozen treats.
Maybe he just needed time for the anesthetics to wear off.
He was so brave!

Air Force Museum

Ty's preschool took a field-trip to the Air Force Museum.
As we were leaving, Ty said he saw his cousin Callie.
He sometimes thinks people look like friends and family.
I didn't think too much of it until my sister-in-law confirmed that Callie was there.
It's a small world!
