Snow Time Fun

We went to visit Allan's dad in Malad today. The boys had so much fun playing in the snow! We have had a difficult time finding snow pants anywhere. After searching Target, Walmart, Children's Place and Carters, we finally found a pair at Big 5 that works for Ty. They are pretty big, but they will fit him next year too. Poor Oz is without any until I search online. Apparently, the first big snowfall in November is when the stores sold out of snow pants. Somehow, I feel December is a little early to stock swimsuits, but what do I know?

 Ty's first time sledding.
Being from California, I have never been into snow activities,
but I think they are growing on me.

Merry Christmas

O Christmas Tree!

Santa brought the boys a dump truck...

...and an InnoTab 2 with a Mickey Mouse game.
Ty loves painting and making puzzles while Oz is happy pushing buttons.

Allan got cash, clothes, pens and gift cards.

I got a new camera, knives & a fuzzy blanket.

A last minute chick gift has become a popular toy.

Ty loves his doctor set!

Oz is obsessed with trucks,
so he was happy to get one that carries lots of cars.

And they both enjoy playing and drawing in the doodle dome.

Grammy sent the boys two Little People car raceways with lots of cars.
They have such a fun time watching the cars go down the ramps and through the loops.
Thanks Grammy!

Christmas Eve

What a magical night! Santa stopped by to tell the boys they needed to go to bed early (not usually a problem with our kids) so he could stop by with gifts later on. The photo is blurry because Ty was jumping with excitement the entire time Santa was at the door. Thanks Santa for making this Christmas so wonderful!

Happy Holidays

I love having a husband who willingly designs our Christmas cards each year; thanks handsome! I love Christmas and I am so grateful for songs that remind me of the true meaning of the season. My new favorite song is Picture a Christmas. Ty and I sing it all day long; he is so good at learning songs.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

We had a special visitor come to our ward Christmas breakfast. The boys were hesitant about getting close to Santa. Oz was quick to get off Santa's lap once he got a bag of goodies.

Ty did not want to sit with Santa, but eventually agreed because he wanted a treat bag. I bet he asked Santa for a circle. Anytime we ask Ty what he wants for Christmas, he says he wants a circle.

Zoo Lights

Searching for the polar bear while watching the sea lions.

It was a bitter cold night but we loved, loved, loved the zoo lights!
