nine months

Oz is 9 months old and time is flying by so quickly.

He weighs 25 lbs. 10 0z. and is 31 in. long. What a big boy!

He rocks on his knees and is trying to master the crawling position.

I have a feeling he will be everywhere once he figures out how to get around.

2 1/2 years old

Ty is two and a half years old. I love how he says, "hello mommy!" when I walk into his room in the morning or after a nap. It is so tender when he randomly gives Oz a hug and says, "lub you Oz!" Ty is so good at sharing toys with Oz. In fact, he is good at sharing in general. He enjoys the letters of the alphabet and knows all of them very well. He even turns some upside down and can tell what they are. For instance, an M upside down is a W. Ty likes to greet Allan when he comes home from work by running to the front door saying, "daddyyy!" We love Ty so much, even when he is having a terrible two attitude.

eight months

Oz is sleeping very well at night; usually for eight hours and then another three to four after waking to eat. What a great improvement! His 5th and 6th teeth have poked through. He gobbles up lots of solids three times a day; I think he is getting ready to eat a steak. He is anxious to get moving around so he can play with Ty. He is such a happy baby, despite his ongoing eczema problems. We love having him in our family and feel so blessed to have his constant smiles and laughs.

I love having my mom in town to visit. Ty is waiting at the front door for her to return from running errands. He loves his grammy!

a not so white Christmas

This was Oz's first Christmas.

He enjoyed opening gifts more than Ty.

What baby doesn't like paper and the noise it makes?

Grammy got the boys a really cool tool bench.

Although Oz cannot play with it like Ty, he enjoys chewing on the accessories.

seven months

I am seven months old and weigh almost 25 pounds. That's right, I am a growing boy. I still wear size 4 diapers, but I now wear 18 month clothing. Mommy and daddy think I will catch up to Ty pretty soon. I smile and laugh a lot, especially when I am tickled. I sit up all by myself and love to play with my nesting cups. I am so lucky to have a big brother who likes sharing his toys with me. I still take three naps a day and sleep better than ever at night; upon occasion, I give mommy a long span (6-8 hours) of rest. I sometimes roar like a lion cub and click my tongue. I prefer to roll to my tummy when placed on my back. I am a happy chunky monkey!
