Our Newest Addition

My due date was Thursday, December 12th. I never thought I would go past my due date, but I did. For the past few weeks, I had been having braxton hicks contractions. This morning, I woke up at 2:40 am with actual labor pains. At first, I thought it was another false alarm, but once I felt the strong back pain, I knew it was "go time." I decided to get ready before waking Allan up from his deep sleep.

We arrived at the hospital around 4:50 am and I got an epidural an hour later. The anesthesiologist was amazing! He never had to make any adjustments. This is how labor is supposed to be...pain free.

Our sweet, calm, happy baby boy.

Bo Kimball was born at 10:32 am.
He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 in long.

We love all of his dark hair!

 Loves from Grammy

Bo meets his big brother Ty.
Oz did not want to hold the baby.

happy halloween

Oz and Ty truly are my superheros!

Captain America is getting ready to save the day by balancing his shield on his head.
You never know when you might need both hands to fight off the bad guys.
Yesterday, a police officer stopped in front of his school to comment on his cool costume.
I really appreciate when cops make an extra special effort to make kids feel important.

Thor isn't sure what he wants to hold, a shot or his hammer; how about both.
Our cute neighbor Ruth stopped by last night with goody bags for the boys.
Another wonderful neighbor Elsie stopped by this morning with the yummiest caramel corn.
Thank you sweet women for thinking of us today!

It was my turn to have a treat this time of year...getting my hair done.
I absolutely love what this new stylist did!

Eight wonderful years

Allan and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary.
It has been such an amazing time together!
He is great at seeing things from an unbiased perspective.
He has more patience than I do, which is not hard for anyone to posses.
He has a tender heart and is such an amazing father.
Thanks for all you do for me and our family.
I love you with all my heart!

Pioneer Day

I took the boys to the park for some Pioneer Day festivities.
Ty did a great job climbing this super tall bouncy ladder.

We went inside this cool and spacious tee-pee.

Since purple is Ty's favorite color, he wanted a grape slushy.
We also got corn on the cob and sweet bread to take home and eat.
Ty loved the corn so much, he finished Oz's too.
Daddy had to work, so he missed all the fun.

Independence Day

We went up north to watch a parade with Allan's sister and her family. Ty covered his ears as the loud sirens passed by.

Watching some bikes ride by. There was so much candy being tossed from the floats; we gave most of it to the cousins.

The morning wasn't too bad, but as the day continued, it became so hot. I couldn't wait to get inside.

Beautiful horses and a carriage.

Ty "graduated" from his first year of preschool.
This is the cute Hawaiian themed stage.

Ty is wearing plaid shorts (2nd kid from the right)
His class sang songs and had a great time being on stage.

Thanks for a wonderful year Miss Patti. We love you!

Enjoying some tasty treats after the program.
